Okay, so it turns out all our efforts to get rid of beer-bellies and love-handles have been in vain because of stress. Apparently, prolonged stress is not only a serious threat to our health, it also affects something we actually care about, our precious looks!
I am of course joking about us not caring about our health but there is some truth to the joke. It’s the classic situation where we know something is wrong intellectually, but we only react when it hits us on an emotional level.
